Began selling credits May 2026; landowner rates not published. Nutrient credits need land-use change (wetland, woodland or taking land out of fertilised farming) for a long period, often 80 to 125 years for permanent credits, secured by legal agreement on the land. Only works inside catchments with nutrient neutrality rules. Land value and APR relief may be affected. Take advice.
